Objectives

We work with the sole aim of enhancing the lives of as many disabled children as possible both in the UK and worldwide. Our objective being to develop the abilities of these children. By further enabling these disabled children to reach their full potential we will be accomplishing our goal. Hence the name The AbleChild Trust.

We aim to do this in the following ways:

Socially

By providing opportunities for children to play. Helping organise excursions, enabling children to interact with others and their families in the community.

Emotionally

To support the appropriate people to provide psychiatric or emotional help for the children with disabilities and their families.

Physically

To provide equipment or professional help to further the physical abilities and development of disabled children.

Educationally

To provide opportunities for children to develop their learning and to introduce new skills to work towards increasing independence. We also aim to help with the education of the family and the community in understanding the needs of the child.
